A Cozy Corner
We have a gigantic sectional sofa in our family room so I really didn't NEED one more spot to sit. I just WANTED a chair and an ottoman and a lamp and a cozy corner in my family room. I loved the IDEA of it. When I finally found a chair at Wayfair (https://www.wayfair.com) and decided to order, the delivery date fell in the middle of the holidays and my Christmas tree owned the corner of the room. I couldn't wait to get that tree packed up quickly and move my new chair into place.
I finally moved the chair into the corner, and the dog was really happy.
Although he liked it, I still envisioned being able to cuddle up in a blanket AND rest my feet. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, until I stumbled upon this little ottoman (and storage piece) at Kirkland's Home (http://www.kirklands.com). Perfect!
One of these days I will actually sit down and put my feet up and read a book in this cozy little space. For now I will just admire my chair and ottoman and watch my dog sleep there...
