Argyle is located in Denton County, one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. Denton County is 957 square miles of mostly rolling hills, with 45 municipalities within its boundaries. With two major universities within its boundaries, Denton County is a center for higher education, and home of the Texas Women’s University and the University of North Texas in Denton, as well as North Central Texas College in Corinth. The county is also a balanced farming region producing crops and livestock, and a consistently growing residential area.
